Propolis is a natural hive product.  The bees collect tree and plant resins and mix these with a little beeswax to produce propolis.  
My propolis tincture is made by dissolving the propolis in alcohol.  I find this method provides a high concentration of propolis in the final tincture than can be achieved  by using other methods.
Propolis has many great qualities.  It is antibacterial and can aid healing.
A few drops of tincture diluted in warm water make an effective mouth wash which helps combat mouth ulcers.  In a glass of warm water with honey a few drops of the tincture make a great health tonic drink.
